Domain Holdings Australia (ASX:DHG) has not received a revised takeover proposal from real estate conglomerate CoStar other than the proposed scheme of arrangement disclosed last Feb. 21, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
This is in response to a Thursday article by The Australian Financial Review saying that Domain's major shareholder, Nine Entertainment (ASX:NEC) had begun talks on selling its stake to CoStar.
Domain's board continues to consider CoStar's proposal, which requires the support of Nine Entertainment, per the filing. Domain said it is engaged with Nine Entertainment on CoStar's bid.
Domain Holdings' shares were up 1% in recent trade.
