Austin Metals Begins Drill Program at Western Australia Project; Shares Surge 20%

Austin Metals (ASX:AYT) has begun a reverse circulation drilling program at the Austin gold project in Western Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The program will comprise an initial 10 to 15 holes for around 1,500 meters and will target several high-priority targets identified from historic and recent drilling, per the filing.

The mineral explorer's shares surged 20% in recent Friday trade.
