Stellantis (STLA) and Leapmotor see Spain as the top candidate for the production of the B10 electric crossover in Europe, Reuters reported Friday, citing a person with direct knowledge of the matter.
The companies have increased efforts to expand component procurement from Spanish suppliers to qualify for the highest level of subsidies from the government, the report said.
Stellantis and China's Leapmotor expect to start mass production of B10 in Q1 2026, the report said.
Stellantis and Leapmotor didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
