智通财经APP获悉，据知情人士透露，Coinbase(COIN.US)正在就收购加密衍生品交易所Deribit进行深入讨论，后者是全球最大的比特币和以太坊期权交易平台。
知情人士表示，这两家公司已将谈判情况告知迪拜监管机构，因为Deribit在迪拜持有牌照，任何收购方都可以接管该牌照。根据Kaiko的数据，Coinbase是美国最大的加密货币交易所。
目前尚不清楚Coinbase是否已与Deribit达成最终协议。媒体在1月份报道称，Deribit的估值可能在40亿至50亿美元之间。
Deribit交易将成为该行业历史上最重大的收购案之一，此次谈判正值唐纳德·特朗普重返白宫引发交易浪潮之际。特朗普任命加密货币倡导者担任美国政府关键职位，并制定了有利于该行业的政策，例如建立比特币储备。
收购Deribit将是Coinbase迄今为止进军利润丰厚的加密衍生品市场最雄心勃勃的举措。期权在高度波动的资产类别中很受欢迎，因为它们赋予交易者在特定时间以预定价格买入或卖出资产的权利，但不要求他们执行交易。这使得投资者可以有效地对冲各种投资的风险。
据悉，提供期权、期货和现货交易的Deribit的总交易量去年几乎翻了一番，达到近1.2万亿美元。
截至周五美股收盘，Coinbase跌0.27%，报189.86美元。该股今年以来下跌近24%。
