Diana Shipping Closes Time Charter Contract With Cargill for Panamax Vessel

Diana Shipping (DSX) said Monday that it has entered into a time charter contract with Cargill International for its Panamax dry bulk vessel, the m/v Leto, for expected gross revenue of $5.93 million over the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.

The gross charter rate is $12,750 per day, less a 4.75% commission paid to third parties, until at least July 16, 2026, and no later than Sept. 16, 2026, the company said.

The charter, which was entered into through a Diana Shipping unit, is expected to begin on March 31.
