新世界发展与招商蛇口合作商住项目动工
新华财经香港3月21日电（记者李柏涛）21日，新世界发展与招商蛇口共同开发的香港北部都会区商住项目举行动工仪式。项目总楼面面积逾10万平方米，将提供约2300个住宅单位，建成后将是该区内最大型商住项目。
该项目地块已获《北部都会区行动纲领》纳入“口岸商贸及产业区”，是北部都会区首个进入工程阶段的新发展区域，配合口岸商圈及新兴产业基地等发展，可与香港新田科技城创科产业发挥协同效应。
新世界发展行政总裁黄少媚表示，集团目前在北部都会区有约130万平方米土地储备，未来会继续通过不同途径，加快释放农地价值。集团也会积极引入战略合作伙伴，进行前瞻性布局，实现优势互补，加快资金回笼。
自北部都会区发展愿景提出以来，招商蛇口与新世界发展积极响应，成为与特区政府签署支持北都发展意向书并有实际项目落地的首批企业。
招商蛇口董事长蒋铁峰在动工仪式上表示，北部都会区是香港融入国家发展大局的重要举措，也是香港未来发展的新引擎，是香港探索发展新方向、寻找发展新动力、开拓发展新空间的长远之举。此次项目开工，标志着招商蛇口与新世界发展合作的又一重要里程碑，展现双方建设美好香港的共同愿景和决心。
