Energean said Friday it is terminating a deal with Carlyle Group (CG) regarding the sale of certain assets, citing delays in receiving regulatory approvals in Italy and Egypt.
The UK gas producer planned to sell an asset portfolio in Egypt, Italy and Croatia to an entity controlled by Carlyle International Energy Partners.
Carlyle shares were down 0.7% in recent premarket activity Friday.
