AT&T (T) is among the major telecommunications companies that have been approached by the UK's BT Group about possible partnerships involving its international business, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
The British firm is looking for potential partners to weigh tie-ups that may involve selling an interest in its global segment, the unnamed sources told the news outlet.
"We're keeping everything open and this means we've been speaking to third parties about a range of possibilities," Bloomberg reported, citing a BT spokesperson.
A representative for AT&T didn't respond to a request for comment, according to the report.
AT&T and BT didn't immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
