PANews 3月21日消息，据Cryptoslate报道，Tether继续在美国国债市场中扮演重要角色，2024年稳居美国国债的第七大买家之位。3月20日，Tether首席执行官Paolo Ardoino在X平台上更新消息，透露该公司在2024年购入了331亿美元的美国国债。这一数字超过了加拿大、中国台湾、墨西哥、挪威、中国香港、韩国、德国和沙特阿拉伯等国家的持有量。
尽管达到这一里程碑，Ardoino指出，开曼群岛以超过1000亿美元的购买量领跑全球。紧随其后的是法国、卢森堡、比利时、新加坡和英国。然而，他澄清道，开曼群岛和卢森堡等地区的持有量包括多家对冲基金的投资，而Tether的资产属于单一实体。Tether将美国国债作为其储备战略的基石，以确保该公司USDT稳定币的稳定性。根据Tether 2024年12月的最新季度储备报告，该公司持有的美国国债总价值为940亿美元。
