Australian Foundation Investment Buys Back Shares

Australian Foundation Investment (ASX:AFI, NZE:AFI) repurchased 210,000 fully-paid ordinary shares for a total consideration of AU$1.5 million in an on-market buyback on Thursday, according to Friday filings with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.

Morgans Financial acted as a broker for the transaction. The firm proposed to buy back a total of 124.7 million shares under the program.
