China Power International Development's (HKG:2380) profit attributable to ordinary shareholders rose 26% to 3.36 billion yuan in 2024 from 2.66 billion yuan in 2023, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share at the power company increased 23% to 0.27 yuan from 0.22 yuan in the previous year. Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated EPS at 0.38 yuan.
Revenue grew 22% to 54.21 billion yuan from 44.26 billion yuan a year earlier. Visible Alpha analysts forecast revenue at 52.6 billion yuan.
The company proposed a final dividend of 0.162 yuan per share, payable June 30 to shareholders on record as of June 13.
Shares slipped 1% during Friday's morning trading.
