Gox并联合创立了Ripple的连续创业者Jed McCaleb分享了他的太空站公司Vast的新细节，他希望这家公司能帮助人类扩展为多行星物种。在3月20日接受彭博社采访时，McCaleb证实，Vast有望在2026年5月之前将Haven-1（一个仍在建设中的商业空间站）送入轨道。如果McCaleb的初创公司成功，它将更有机会赢得美国国家航空航天局（NASA）的一份利润丰厚的合同，以取代国际空间站。预计合同将在2026年年中发放。如果Vast失败或将NASA合同输给竞争对手，McCaleb的净资产可能会减少10亿美元，其太空站公司的商业前景也将受到质疑。McCaleb表示：“没有多少人愿意像我这样投入如此多的资源、时间和风险承受能力。”
