3 月 21 日，CoinDesk 分析师 James Van Straten 表示，就在日元恐慌似乎有所缓解之际，日本公布的核心通胀数据再次上升。周五早间公布的数据显示，日本 2 月核心通胀同比上涨 3%，虽低于 1 月的 3.2%，但高于市场普遍预期的 2.9%。同时，整体消费者价格指数（CPI）从 4% 降至 3.7%。
总体来看，这两项指标仍然远高于日本央行 2% 的通胀目标，这也印证了央行行长黑田东彦对日本摆脱数十年通缩的判断。值得注意的是，自去年 11 月以来，日本的整体通胀率一直高于美国，目前高出近 100 个基点（bps）。
持续的高通胀，加上工资上涨，进一步推动了市场对日本央行加息的呼声。换句话说，可能引发风险资产（包括加密货币）波动的日元反弹风险再次浮现。
