HITIQ (ASX:HIQ) secured a three-year partnership with the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) and is now the association's 'Official Concussion Technology Partner' according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company also introduced its smart mouthguard, HITIQ PROTEQT, to amateur and community athletes, the filing said.
The system provides real-time head impact monitoring, symptom assessment, and telehealth access to concussion specialists, the filing added.
VAFA clubs will implement HITIQ PROTEQT this season, the company said.
Shares of the company jumped 17% in recent Monday trade.
