Great Boulder Resources Identifies Targets at Western Australia Gold Project

Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) said that auger sampling identified several large new gold anomalies in the Tal Val area Side Well gold project in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

"Significant" historical prospecting activity occurred within the area, indicating strong surface gold mineralization, per the filing.

The area has been partly cleared by a heritage survey in March, and a second survey is planned to clear the remaining targets during the June quarter.

The firm started an air core drilling program at the Eaglehawk deposit and follow-up drilling for the Side Well South area is being planned.

Great Boulder Resources' shares fell past 1% in recent trading on Monday.
