Zijin Mining's (HKG:2899, SHA:601899) attributable profit rose 52% to 32.1 billion yuan in 2024 from 21.1 billion yuan in 2023, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share at the mining company increased to 1.20 yuan from 0.80 yuan in the previous year. Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated EPS at 1.19 yuan.
Operating income grew 3.5% to 303.6 billion yuan from 293.4 billion yuan a year earlier. Visible Alpha estimated revenue at 341.3 billion yuan.
The company declared a final dividend of 2.80 yuan per 10 shares or 0.28 yuan per share. Zijin Mining has yet to announce the record and payment dates.
Meanwhile, Zijin Mining aims to produce 1.15 million tonnes of mine-produced copper, 85 tonnes of mine-produced gold, 440,000 tonnes of mine-produced zinc (lead), 40,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent, 450 tonnes of mine-produced silver, 10,000 tonnes of mine-produced molybdenum, the filing said.
