Native Mineral Resources Holdings Advances Restart Activities at Queensland Gold Processing Plant; Shares Rise 3%

Native Mineral Resources Holdings (ASX:NMR) said it is advancing work for the restart of the Blackjack processing plant and Charters Towers assets in Queensland, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

First gold production is targeted for the third quarter, the filing said.

It submitted an estimated rehabilitation cost application and is progressing with the amendment of its environmental application with support from external consultants.

A structural audit of the processing plant conducted by Ausenco found no critical issues and design work on the gold room is continuing, led by Ausenco. Refurbishment and upgrades are advancing at the processing plant.

Its shares rose 3% in recent trading on Monday.
