Scholar Education Group Posts 69% Higher Attributable Profit

Scholar Education Group (HKG:1769) reported a 69% increase in profit attributable to owners for 2024 to 145.6 million yuan from 86.0 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Bourse.

Earnings per share were 0.2608 yuan, a 69% increase from 0.1542 yuan the previous year.

Revenue increased by 49% to 852.3 million yuan from 570.6 million yuan in the prior year.

The Board recommended a final dividend of HK$0.07 per Share, subject to approval, and is expected to be paid on Aug. 29.
