Bank of America (BAC) has selected Chris Norman from Wells Fargo (WFC) to oversee technology mergers and acquisitions in the Americas, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
Norman, who previously managed West Coast tech M&A at Wells Fargo, will take on the new role after a transition period and will be based in Palo Alto, the report said.
He is expected to report to Bank of America's global M&A co-heads Ivan Farman and Eamon Brabazon, and work alongside Kevin Brunner, who chairs the bank's global M&A group, the report said.
Bank of America and Wells Fargo did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
