据“北京通州发布”微信公众号消息，国际投资促进会（GIC）2025新春招待会，日前在京举办。通州区政协副主席、区投促中心主任吴涛在会上作专题推介，展现了通州区作为北京城市副中心的开放活力与战略价值。

通州区作为北京城市副中心的核心承载地，依托京津冀协同发展战略，已形成“一核两翼”的现代产业体系。副中心聚焦高水平对外开放，积极对接国际高标准经贸规则，推出了一系列服务中外人员往来、外籍人才安居乐业、优化口岸营商环境的措施。

通州区荣膺国家服务业扩大开放综合示范区、中国（北京）自由贸易试验区的“两区”金字招牌，2024年，通州区新设立外商投资企业194家，同比增长90.2%；注册资本合计3.4亿美元，合同利用外资2.69亿美元，实际利用外资合计2.7亿美元，同比增长36.29%，增势明显。
