PANews 3月26日消息，北卡罗来纳州议员向众议院和参议院提交两项法案，建议允许将部分养老金资金投资于加密资产，最高比例为5%。众议员Brenden Jones提出了“州投资现代化法案”（HB 506），参议院则提交了类似的SB 709法案。这些法案旨在设立独立的“投资机构”，负责管理包括州退休基金在内的多种基金投资。
法案规定，投资机构可将资金投向加密货币、稳定币和NFT等数字资产，并需采用安全托管解决方案，同时评估资产的风险与回报。此前，北卡罗来纳州已提交相关法案，授权州财政官员投资比特币。加密资产正成为美国各州议员关注的投资方向。
此前消息，北卡罗来纳州比特币储备法案拟授权10%的公共资金用于购买比特币。
