China Southern Airlines (HKG:1055, SHA:600029) narrowed its 2024 net loss attributable to shareholders to 1.77 billion yuan, or 0.10 yuan per share, from 4.14 billion yuan, or 0.23 yuan per share, the previous year.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha had estimated EPS at 0.02 yuan.
Total operating revenue rose 8.94% year over year to 174.2 billion yuan from 159.9 billion yuan. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha had projected revenue at 177.5 billion yuan.
Shares of the airline were down 2% in recent trade on the Hong Kong and Shanghai bourses.
