前圣路易斯联储行长、现普渡大学商学院院长詹姆斯-布拉德（James Bullard）周五接受媒体采访时发出鹰派信号，指出美联储加息可能性正在攀升。

　　这位以“货币政策风向标”著称的经济学家强调，当前市场对2024年降息的乐观预期可能严重误判了通胀韧性。

　　他称最近的一些硬核经济数据促使他作出上述判断：核心PCE连续3个月环比0.4%（折合年化4.9%），3个月就业平均增幅仍达24.5万人（远超中性水平）。

　　布拉德引用1999年周期案例警告：“当失业率低于4%且通胀反弹时，美联储曾紧急逆转政策方向。当前3.8%的失业率与3.7%的核心通胀构成相似风险组合。”

　　布拉德的言论公布后，芝商所利率期货数据显示：7月加息概率从15%飙升至42%，2024全年降息预期从6次缩减至3次。
