Solstice Minerals Starts Air Core Drilling at Western Australia Prospect; Shares Up 3%

Solstice Minerals (ASX:SLS) started infill and step-out air core drilling at the Edjudina Range gold prospect within the Yarri project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Results from recent drilling include two meters at 3.17 grams per tonne grade of gold end-of-hole, and 10 meters at 0.96 g/t grade of gold within an anomalous zone of 15 meters at 0.70 g/t grade of gold end-of-hole, the filing said.

Samples will be transported to the laboratory, with results expected to be received in April, according to the filing.

Shares rose nearly 3% in afternoon trade Wednesday.
