Archer Aviation (ACHR) said Thursday that it has signed an agreement with Ethiopian Airlines to deploy a fleet of Archer's Midnight aircraft under a program valued at up to $30 million.
Archer said it and Ethiopian Airlines will collaborate on building an air taxi network in Africa, and that it will provide the airline with a team of pilots, technicians, and engineers to support the initial deployment of the planes.
The company also said that although they will focus mainly on developing the air taxi network, they will also consider other uses, such as eco-tourism.
