Petco Health & Wellness shares surged 30% on news of a partnership with Uber Technologies.

Shares on Thursday were trading around $3.16. The stock is up about 44% over the last year.

The pet-store company said the partnership would bring its products to the ride-hailing company's Uber Eats food delivery operation.
