WidePoint postponed its fourth-quarter earnings call due to an event in March that affected the accounting treatment of its financial results.

The Fairfax, Va., cybersecurity said Tuesday it needs additional time to assess the impact of the event. The call was scheduled to be held after the company posts fourth-quarter and full-year results following the market close on Wednesday.

WidePoint said it plans to file its annual 10-K form on time and will reschedule to call once it has completed its audit.
