Meeka Metals (ASX:MEK) said infill and extensional drilling continued to intersect broad zones of high-grade gold at the Turnberry Central prospect within the company's Murchison project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling results include 36 meters at 2.82 grams per tonne grade of gold from 89 meters including 10 meters at 4.67g/t gold and 11 meters at 3.85g/t gold, the filing said.
The results will be added to the Turnberry Central model to improve the open pit design in the next few weeks, the filing added.
A reverse-circulation drilling program is ongoing at the project, the company said.
