美国的机器人公司正在推动制定一项国家机器人战略，其中包括设立一个专注于推动该行业发展的联邦机构。

　　当地时间上周三，特斯拉、波士顿动力和敏捷机器人（Agility Robotics）等公司的代表前往国会山与美国议员会面，敦促其开启一项国家机器人战略，建立一个专注于促进机器人行业发展的联邦办公室，从而助力美国公司参与到全球下一代机器人研发竞赛中。

　　得州人形机器人初创公司Apptronik的联合创始人兼首席执行官Jeff Cardenas向国会议员指出，1961 年是美国汽车制造商通用汽车公司（General Motors）在新泽西州的一家装配厂部署了第一台工业机器人。但随后美国将其早期的领先地位让给了日本，日本和欧洲至今仍是工业机器人领域的强国。

　　卡德纳斯在闭门会议后的一次采访中表示，下一场机器人竞赛将由人工智能驱动，而且 “鹿死谁手尚未可知”。“我认为美国极有可能获胜。我们在人工智能领域处于领先地位，而且我认为我们正在打造一些世界上最优秀的机器人。但如果我们想要继续发展并保持领先，就需要制定一项国家战略。”

　　美国先进自动化协会（Association for Advanced Automation）表示，国家战略将有助于美国公司扩大生产规模，并推动机器人作为人工智能的 “实体体现” 得到广泛应用。

　　该协会在一份声明中称，如果缺乏这样的领导举措，“美国不仅会输掉机器人竞赛，还会输掉人工智能竞赛”。
