CAVA Group (CAVA) will replace Altair Engineering (ALTR) in the S&P MidCap 400, effective prior to trading on March 31, S&P Global (SPGI) said Thursday.
The indexing and market research firm said the change occurred because Siemens acquired Altair Engineering in a deal completed Thursday.
Additionally, ANGI (ANGI) will replace ODP (ODP) in the S&P SmallCap 600, effective prior to trading on April 2, the company said.
S&P SmallCap 600 constituent IAC (IAC) is spinning off its ownership interest in ANGI in a transaction expected to be completed on April 1, and ODP's market cap is no longer representative of the small-cap market space, the company said.
