其中一位消息人士说，鸿海的目的是增进汽车制造商和供应商对其电动汽车战略的了解，并补充称该公司首席电动车战略官Jun Seki预计将在会上发言。Seki曾是日产 7201.T 高管，2023年被鸿海聘用。
由于计划尚未公开，两位消息人士均要求匿名。
鸿海拒绝就4月份的活动和三菱的交易发表评论。
