Endeavour Group (ASX:EDV) is set for a major overhaul under new executive chairman Ari Mervis, who is leading a comprehensive review of the company's operations, according to a Wednesday report by the Australian Financial Review.
Mervis has prioritized simplifying the business, which includes brands like liquor stores Dan Murphy's and BWS, the report said.
Endeavour has already closed its liquor delivery and gifting business Shorty's Liquor, contract wine bottling and packaging operation Prowine, and further restructuring or asset sales are being considered.
The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
Shares of the company rose 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
