Exclusions from Tariffs on Vehicles Likely to Be Limited -- Market Talk

1421 ET - The exclusion of car parts from Trump's 25% tariffs on autos will likely be limited and won't do much to mitigate the levies' overall impact, Wolfe Research's Tobin Marcus and Chutong Zhu write. They say the White House cited $100 billion in new annual revenue, "which is not far below our revenue estimate for a 25% on all vehicles and parts," they say, adding that more information on the policy is needed to see exactly which parts are covered.
