TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute for Indonesian Nusantara Energy (Danantara), Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, announced the composition of the officials today. Rosan ensures that the selected officials will not hold dual positions.

The Minister of Investment and Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) stated that the selected officials have left their previous positions. He cited an example of the Managing Director of Human Resources, Sanjay Bharwani. According to Rosan, Sanjay previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Bester & Co.

After being officially appointed as the Managing Director, Sanjay will work full-time at Danantara. "After this, he will be fully with us. Because in our organization (Danantara), there should be no one holding dual positions below us," said Rosan when announcing the structure of the Danantara officials at Graha CIMB Niaga, Jakarta, on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Rosan ensures that the selection process for the names has been through strict selection, involving three head hunters or consulting firms. One of the companies mentioned is Egon Zehnder's.

According to Rosan, the company proposed a minimum of three names for one position. After that, the candidate names were submitted to President Prabowo Subianto. After reviewing the candidates' backgrounds, the head of state reportedly did not reject any of the names proposed. "He did not reject any of the names we proposed," he said.

Rosan mentioned that the list of officials may increase in the future, both at the advisor level and the team below. There are several names that, according to him, are ready to join but are still working in other companies, so it will take some time. "These names will continue to evolve, and we will also update new names that will join Danantara," he said.

After the presentation session, Rosan was asked about holding the position of Minister of Investment. Because he himself stated that the officials of Danantara are prohibited from holding dual positions. The former Head of the Prabowo-Gibran Campaign Team stated that his position in the Investment Ministry is in line with Danantara's work. "I am the Minister of Investment, and what is the task of Danantara? Investment. So, they support each other," he said.

He said that the position of the investment minister helps to instill trust in investors who want to enter. This will help reduce the bureaucracy that has hindered investment so far.
