Aurelia Metals (ASX:AMI) said that the New South Wales Department of Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure approved a modification to the development consent for the Federation polymetallic project, allowing up to 600,000 tonnes of ore per annum to be hauled to the Peak processing plant, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The previously approved amount was 200,000 tonnes per annum., the filing said.
This will allow the firm to realize higher value from treating all ore mined from the project at Peak, as identified from the results of the Cobar Optimization Study, per the filing.
A number of administrative updates to management plans are required due to the approval, which will be undertaken in due course, it added.
