1600 GMT - Gilt market volatility risks resurfacing due to the vulnerable state of U.K. public finances and heavy gilt supply ahead, HSBC U.K. rates strategist Daniela Russell says in a note. Concerns about the impact of tariffs on the U.K. economy could also weigh on investor sentiment, she says. "Attention can now shift back towards the macroeconomic data and global developments, including around possible reciprocal U.S. tariffs, and how they will affect the Bank of England outlook," she says. The 10-year gilt yield rises nearly 7 basis points to last trade at 4.793%, after touching a 10-week high of 4.811% earlier, Tradeweb data show. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
