BHP Group (ASX:BHP) applied to the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the London Stock Exchange (LSE) to list about 5.2 million ordinary shares on the LSE, according to a Thursday filing with the LSE.
The shares will be issued under the company's employee equity incentive plans, the filing said. They will be admitted to the FCA's official list and traded on the LSE Main Market.
The group expects the shares to be admitted to the list Friday, the filing added.
