Spark New Zealand (ASX:SPK, NZE:SPK) said BlackRock and its affiliates increased their interest in the company to 8.1% from 5.9%, according to a Tuesday filing in the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
The entities now hold 148.8 million shares in the company.
Spark New Zealand's shares rose 5% in recent Tuesday trade on the Australian bourse and also rose 5% on the New Zealand bourse.
