Nkarta (NKTX) late Wednesday reported a Q4 loss of $0.35 per diluted share, compared with a $0.57 loss a year earlier.
Four analysts polled by FactSet expected a $0.43 loss.
As expected, the company reported no revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31.
Nkarta also disclosed plans for a company-wide reorganization, including a "significant" workforce reduction and cutting its executive ranks by more than 50%. The restructuring is expected to result in $5.5 million to $6.5 million in cash expense.
As of Dec. 31, the company said it had $380.5 million in cash, cash equivalents, restricted cash and investments in marketable securities, which is expected to fund operations into 2029.
Nkarta shares were up 5.8% in after-hours activity.
