0952 ET - Dollar Tree is gaining ground across all income cohorts, a sign that inflation and concerns about the economy is giving the company a boost. The discount-store operator says middle-income shoppers, around 50% of its customer base, are focusing more on value, and it's seeing stronger demand from higher-income customers. "We continue to see value-seeking behavior across all customer groups," says CEO Mike Creedon on an analyst call. Dollar Tree is up 3% after confirming that it's selling its Family Dollar business for $1 billion. (denny.jacob@wsj.com; @pennedbyden)
