TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) questioned the former Vice President of PT Pertamina Investigation, Budhi Dermawan, on Monday, March 24, 2025.
Budhi was questioned by the KPK as a witness in the alleged criminal act of corruption in the procurement of catalysts at PT Pertamina. "The examination took place at the Red and White Building of the KPK," said KPK spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto in a statement on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.In addition to Budhi, the investigators also questioned the former Chief Internal Audit of PT Pertamina (Persero), Wahyu Wijayanto, former Vice President SPI of PT Pertamina (Persero) M. Nirfan, and PT PGN employee Imam Mul Akhyar.
They were questioned about their knowledge or involvement in the receipt of gratifications by the suspect CD and associates.
In this case, the KPK admitted to having named suspects and preventing several people from leaving the country.
At that time, KPK spokesperson Ali Fikri stated that the alleged receipt took place during the tender for the procurement of catalysts at PT Pertamina Persero. "Allegedly received by the parties who have been designated as suspects by the KPK," said Ali Fikri at the Red and White Building of the KPK on Monday, November 6, 2023.
Ali mentioned that their initial evidence was estimated to be around tens of billions of rupiah. Furthermore, the KPK will carry out further developments in the investigation process.
"Regarding the case construction and the identity of the suspects, we will provide information when there are forced measures such as the arrest or detention of the suspect," he said.
In addition, to facilitate the investigation process at the KPK, at least several people have been submitted to the Director General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights for prevention.
