消息面上，新特能源拟于3月31日举行董事会会议批准全年业绩。公司此前发布盈警，预计2024年度由盈转亏，全年亏损38亿至41亿人民币。主要受光伏产业链供需关系失衡的影响，多晶硅价格非理性下跌，集团多晶硅平均售价下降约60%；产能利用率约为66%，未充分发挥规模效应；及对多晶硅及新能源电站相关资产计提减值准备合计21.49亿人民币。
交银国际指出，公司亏损超过该行原预期，主要是由于期末计提21.49亿元减值。公司去年多晶硅平均售价同比下跌约60%至约3.8万元/吨，低于该行预期。该行指出，公司去年底撤回A股IPO申请，今年3月10日被调出港股通)持股比例达51%)，或将导致股价短期承压。
