1415 ET - Carnival has several elements driving business and quelling investors' concerns that consumers are spending less on travel, Bank of America analyst Andrew Didora says. The cruise line is seeing spending onboard -- a category linked to consumer demand trends -- continue to grow. Long-term booking has 80% of cruises in 2025 booked and 2026 has a good foundation with record booking position, even at higher prices, Didora says. Pricing for close-in bookings in the second quarter was "off the charts," the company said, with European driving strong demand and beating all other regions. (katherine.hamilton@wsj.com)
