3 月 26 日，据 businessinsider 报道，XBT.com 在劳埃德拍卖行（Lloyds Auctions）上的价格已超过 300 万美元，有望成为 2021 年以来最大的加密域名拍卖。
劳埃德拍卖行首席运营官 Lee Hames 表示：“这不仅仅是一个域名，更是比特币本身的金融未来和身份，无论谁赢得 XBT.com，都将拥有十年来最伟大的域名和比特币未来的股份，这是一种具有巨大历史和金融意义的数字资产。”
据悉，XBT.com 起拍价为 2,798,917 美元，此次拍卖将于 3 月 28 日结束。
注：XBT 是遵循国际标准化组织（ISO 4217）命名规则下比特币的代码。根据该规则，货币代码前两位代表国家/地区（如 CNY 中的"CN"为中国），而比特币是去中心化的，无国家归属，因此使用"X"开头（"X"通常代表非国家货币，如黄金的代码是 XAU）。
