Belararox (ASX:BRX) reported that it intersected visual copper at the Tambo South area in its Toro-Malambo-Tambo project in Argentina, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Assays received for the first 224 meters of drilling at the first hole at Tambo South include intercepts of 30 meters at 0.13% grade of copper from 102 meters as well as 30 meters at 0.1% grade of copper from 154 meters.
Assays for the remaining 804.6 meters are outstanding and will be reported in the coming weeks. The second hole at Tambo South is currently at a depth of 729 meters for a planned hole depth of over 1300 meters.
It is also progressing drilling at the Malambo copper-gold porphyry target.
Its shares surged 124% on market close on Tuesday.
