March 31 - (The Insurer) - Fidelis Insurance Group has appointed Jonny Strickle as group managing director, the company said on Monday.
In his new role, Strickle will report directly to CEO Dan Burrows.
Strickle joined the company in 2020 as UK chief actuary and group head of reserving, before assuming the role of group chief actuarial officer of Fidelis Insurance Group upon the firm's bifurcation in 2023.
Prior to Fidelis, Strickle spent three years as head of reserving for China Re Syndicate.
Last week, the Fidelis Partnership, the company's underwriting business, announced that it had promoted Nadia Beckert to chief underwriting officer for its Bermuda office.
The Fidelis Partnership said earlier this month that its gross written premiums rose by 29% in 2024, with the top line at Syndicate 3123 coming in ahead of plan in its first six months of trading.
