0833 GMT - Poste Italiane's acquisition of Vivendi's shares in Telecom Italia provides alternatives for the Italian postal service provider, Equita analyst Andrea Lisi writes in a note. The transaction gives room to extract more value from Poste Mobile, the Italian telecommunications company owned by Poste Italiane through Postepay, Lisi says. Additionally, the deal accelerates the distribution of some products, and supports the completion of TIM's--as Telecom Italia is known--transformation process and market consolidation, the analyst adds. Telecom Italia shares are up 0.02%, while Vivendi and Poste Italiane shares are down 1.05% and 0.9%, respectively. (najat.kantouar@wsj.com)
