智通财经APP讯，恒基地产(00012)发布公告，在股东特别大会上动议批准由本集团出售位于香港九龙金巴利道16号的地段(物业)及将于该地段上建造的新酒店予美丽华集团(该交易)的决议案，因有46.19%的赞成票及53.81%的反对票而未能获得通过。据此，由于完成交易的先决条件未能满足，该交易将不会继续进行并将失去效力。该结果不会对本集团的营运构成任何重要影响。
本集团将按既定计划继续拆卸该物业上的现有建筑物，及按已经批准的建筑图则将该物业重新发展为一座新酒店(即楼高23层酒店，附设商铺并座落于两层地库上的综合项目，总楼面面积约137,885平方呎，包含99间酒店客房、店铺、餐厅、宴会厅、约21个私家车车位及约2个电单车车位);并将会与美丽华集团就该新酒店探索进一步的新机遇。
