PANews 3月31日消息，Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong 表示，美国应允许稳定币（如 USDC）支付链上利息 (Onchain Interest)，让消费者享有 4%+ 市场收益，而非银行提供的 0.01% 利率，这将减少通胀损失，并为全球数十亿未充分服务的人群提供金融机会。同时，稳定币作为美国国债的主要持有者，有助于巩固美元在全球的主导地位。
Armstrong 强调，当前法律未允许稳定币支付利息，但随着亲加密政府和国会推进新的稳定币立法，现在是改变规则的最佳时机，让链上利息促进创新留在美国。
