Industrial Minerals (ASX:IND) said stage two high-purity quartz test work began on ore from the Pippingarra Quarry project in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
It established a strategic partnership with Nanchang Hengsui Industrial and Commercial to oversee a comprehensive beneficiation test program in China. Laboratory analysis of the processed material is currently underway, with results pending.
The firm retained Keypointe for the second stage of test work and to conduct an independent audit of the beneficiation test.
The firm also has a bulk sample ready for shipment from Port Hedland to allow interested parties to conduct independent evaluations, as a step in the assessment process.
Its shares rose 3% in recent trading on Monday.
